First Year Applicant
APPLICATION FOR FIRST YEAR PEACE DELEGATES
The 7th Annual California Global Youth Peace Summit (June 16th-22nd, 2019; Foresthill, CA) will unite 50 youth (ages 14-18) from up to 20 different countries for a week dedicated to personal growth, healing, cultural exchange, leadership development and community building.
At the Summit, every youth is given a space to be themselves, completely. With the recognition that sustainable peace begins within, the Summit provides a space for youth to freely express, grow, heal, listen, be heard, be celebrated and be empowered.
The Summit unites young people from around the world and provides an opportunity to see, that beyond our nationality, ethnicity, beliefs, past experiences and present circumstances, we are all human beings who essentially want the same things: acceptance, love, equality and peace. This fundamental understanding ignites compassion. The Summit inspires youth to turn this compassion into action by giving them the necessary tools and support to make an impact in their homes, their communities, their world, among their peers and within themselves.
